Dear Reader,
Have you ever wondered…
Why are you not able to meet your monthly, quarterly, yearly targets in spite of so many sales calls?
Why are you not able to sell online in spite of running tons of advertisements worth lakhs of rupees?
Why are you not getting sufficient leads every day in spite of having good products and brilliant product developers?
Why don’t your customers pay respect to you in spite of your decades of experience?
Why don’t your customers buy repeatedly from you in spite of good customer service?
Why are you still running a local business in spite of being the best in your craft?
Why are you still an average sales guy in spite of your killer enthusiasm?
And why do you always surrender against any type of Recession?
Do you want to know the REASON? Here it is…
It’s simply because you haven’t learned how to persuade your prospects enough to convert them into lifelong customers.
Why is Persuasion so important in Sales & Marketing?
Because you’re dealing with humans while selling your products.
Persuasion is all about human behaviour.
You need to understand the psychology of your customers.
You need to know who your ideal customer is.
Who is buying your product?
Who is not buying your product? And why he is not buying your product?
No doubt, in the business, the most important thing is the quality of the product.
Many manufacturers think that if their products are good, people will automatically come to them.
Unfortunately, most of the times, it doesn’t work in this manner, especially if you’re in a competitive market.
You need to push your products.
You need to communicate with your customers, before selling and even after selling.
But not like an ordinary salesman.
You need to be a Master Persuader.
You see, there are many reasons that people move into the sales profession.
Some people didn’t get a job anywhere else. So they opt for sales to earn bread and butter.
Some people are not satisfied with their office job and think they can earn more by selling part-time.
Some people think that they are born salespeople. They have a God gift to convince others.
Some people move accidentally into sales from other departments.
Some people are running their family business, that’s why already involved in sales.
And some people want to become rich by starting and running their own business. And for this, they need to bring sales.
Since Sales doesn’t require a 10th pass or 12th pass certificate, Degree, Diploma, Ph.D. unlike any other sophisticated profession so one can start selling right from the first day without learning the science and art of Persuasion.
However, this is the biggest mistake done by every mediocre salesperson on the planet.
Selling is as serious as performing a critical surgery, arguing a case in the court, or flying an airplane.
That’s why if you’re serious about your career in sales… if you’re serious about building a big business… if you’re serious about bringing more and more clients with repeated sales… you need to be serious about learning and mastering Persuasion.
And it’s not only the matter of sales, even in your daily life you need to learn persuasion to get everything you want.
Why is Persuasion so important in Life?
Imagine you put a gun on your husband’s head and tell him to take you and kids to Europe on a vacation.
Or carry a stick to your office and warn your employees to do the quality work otherwise be ready to face the punishment.
Thank God! This is not possible in a free society.
Of course, these are extreme instances but the point is people resist force.
But it doesn’t mean that you lose hope of going to Europe for vacation or getting work done from your colleagues.
The question is how.
It’s no wonder that the situation becomes extremely frustrating sometimes.
So, what to do?
What skill do you need to get things done as per your wish?
The answer is Persuasion.
Persuasion is perhaps the most important skill you can develop.
Just see in your surroundings.
Politicians need to persuade people to vote for them.
Salesmen need to persuade prospects to buy from them.
Boss needs to persuade subordinates to finish the work.
Journalists need to persuade bureaucrats to tell the inside story.
Teachers need to persuade students to focus on studies.
Parents need to persuade kids to develop good habits.
Entrepreneurs need to persuade investors to invest in their ventures.
Though we live in a computer age, still we deal with humans.
That’s why it’s very important to learn and master persuasion skills.
How Persuasion Works?
Let me tell you a fictional story. This story has a strong connection with how to persuade your prospects.
Once upon a time, there was an ego clash between Sun and Wind. Both of them felt superior and more powerful than each other.
One day they decided to demonstrate their power and capabilities in a fair competition.
The challenge was to remove the jacket from an old man who was walking on the road.
The wind got the first chance. He started blowing fast… very fast.
But faster the wind blew, the more tightly old man grasped jacket by both hands.
This made Wind furious.
He started putting all his force to remove the jacket.
But it didn’t work.
In fact, it created the OPPOSITE effect on the old man. He grasped his jacket more and more tightly as the wind blew faster and faster.
Finally, Wind gave up.
And then it was the turn of Sun to show his powers.
Sun started increasing his temperature.
And the old man started feeling hot… so hot that the first thing he did was to remove his dear jacket which he was holding tightly to save from wind.
And Sun won easily.
Now you might be thinking about how this simple story is related to persuading customers.
The point is… this story is all about Persuasion.
This is exactly how Persuasion works.
Persuasion is not meant for applying only external pressure, which Wind used to remove the jacket from the old man.
Persuasion is about applying internal pressure to get the work done just like in the case of Sun.
The sad part is mediocre salespeople do the same mistake of putting external pressure on prospects to buy their products and services.
But the more pressure salespeople apply on prospects, the more skeptical, more suspicious, more resistant prospects become.
If you want to win the sales, you need to use internal pressure.
And this is what I teach business owners, self-employed, sales & marketing professionals through my courses and workshops.
I hardly ever apply external pressure to get things done. Instead, I use internal pressure tactics to achieve my objective.
If you want to win sales… if you want to double your power of persuasion… if you want to double your speed of persuasion… you need to use my unconventional methods to build INTERNAL PRESSURE on your prospects and customers.
This is the difference between top and struggling businesses.
There is a 180-degree difference between these two approaches.
Using external pressure tactics, you’re forcing your customers to buy your products. This is what desperate salespeople do.
But using internal pressure tactics, your customer thinks he is deciding and buying from you. So in this case, it’s not a salesperson who is selling to a customer… it’s the customer who is purchasing from a salesperson.
Can you see the difference between the two approaches?
I have designed my courses and LIVE workshops on internal pressure tactics no matter what way you market and sell. It’s applicable everywhere, whether you sell face-to-face, online, through advertising, or by phone.
These methods can be used in any kind of industry, in any kind of business, and in any kind of situation where traditional methods are not bringing desired results.
