Thank God we’re living in a free society where nobody can dictate us how we should live.
But have you ever thought of how to get things done in a free society?
What skill do you need to motivate people to act as per your and their best interest?
The answer is Persuasion.
Persuasion is the most important skill you can develop.
In fact, everyone is dependent on his or her Persuasion skills to achieve their personal and professional goals.
Don’t believe me?
Just see in your surroundings.
Politicians need to persuade people to get votes.
Salesmen need to persuade customers to get orders.
Boss needs to persuade subordinates to get the work done.
Journalists need to persuade bureaucrats to tell the inside story.
Teachers need to persuade students to focus on studies.
Parents need to persuade kids to develop good habits.
As you can see, we’re living in a computer age; still, we’re dealing with humans.
And Persuasion is all about human behaviour.
Take the example of Sales & Marketing to understand the importance of Persuasion.
In Marketing, you need to understand the psychology of your customers.
You need to know who your target market is.
Who is buying your product? Who is not buying and why?
No doubt in the business, the most important thing is the quality of products and services.
Many manufacturers think if their product is good, people will automatically come to them.
Unfortunately, most of the time, it doesn’t work in this manner, especially if you’re in a competitive market.
You need to push your products.
You need to communicate with your customers, before selling and even after selling.
But not like an ordinary salesman.
You need to be a Master Persuader.
