One of the reasons many businesses fail in the starting years is they give up when they start facing difficulties…

For example,

Unable to find leads.

Unable to find investors for the business.

Unable to find the right people.

Unable to retain good employees, consultants, coaches.

Unable to bring new customers.

Unable to retain old customers.

 Unable to bring repeated sales.

Unable to manage daily operations.

Like these, many difficulties are coming because companies don’t know how to convince and persuade their customers, employees, suppliers, and investors.

However, the problem is not what they don’t know. The real problem is what they do when they realize they don’t know. And this could become much bigger and dangerous if they don’t take it seriously.

Of course, not every company falls into this category.

There are some companies, who acknowledge that they are incompetent in persuading people, and start learning skills to get better results in sales & marketing, hiring & retaining quality people, maintaining a healthy relationship with existing customers, and getting funds from investors.

On the other side, when some companies realize they are incompetent, they take it on ego, ignore advice from wise people, and even fire them.

And then one day these companies vanish from the world just like bubbles in the air.

My suggestion for such companies:

Don’t take it on ego, and understand the seriousness of the situation.

If you really want to survive and thrive in this hyper-competitive world, you need to burn your boats so that you stop thinking of quitting and fight in the bloody war of business until you win or perish.
