Dear Reader,

What happens when you don’t listen to your experts?

What happens when you ignore warnings from your well-wishers?

What happens when your overconfidence doesn’t let you prepare for emerging problems?

And what happens when you don’t take lessons from history?

Many powerful, developed, prospered countries sensed danger in January but didn’t announce real emergency until March.

The world’s top leaders failed to see a virus coming to their countries, entering their home and office through their near and dear ones.

Result?

More than 100,000 people are already killed by an invisible virus.

The world’s largest economies are paralyzed.

Millions of people have already lost their jobs.

And now we are going to face an economic pandemic.

The same things happen with some top corporations when they become big enough to stop seeing threats from micro, small businesses.

They think they are untouchable, unbeatable, immortal.

They have lost their entrepreneurial spirit. And now they have become bureaucratic.

Their vision is surrounded by the cloud of overconfidence because of which they can’t see their enemies which are still tiny but have a tendency to grow exponentially.

The point is… Don’t underestimate your enemy no matter how small it is.

Armed with the right knowledge and timely action, a small business can outsmart, outmanage, outnegotiate, outmotivate, and outsell an industry leader.
