“Life is a race… If you don’t run fast… you will be like a broken egg…” – 3 idiots (Bollywood movie)
We’re living in an extremely competitive world.
The better wins the race, the weaker loses the race.
So, what is the reason why some people keep failing in the job? Why some people perform poorly again and again in spite of their hard work?
No, I’m not talking about competence vs. incompetence.
It’s something much deeper, much more emotional, much more personal.
It is something related to how we think and act.
Unfortunately, many people who fail in academics, jobs, business, sports, or any other profession, start blaming themselves, their destiny, their family.
Let me tell today, it’s not their fault. They are just in the WRONG profession.
Sadly, these people are the first who become victims of an economic slowdown.
Or obsolete technologies.
Or worst of all, office politics. (However, even the best people in an organization can become a victim of office politics. Incompetent, insecure people will keep using these dirty tactics to save their jobs.)
I urge all those people who are facing problems in dealing with challenges in their profession, it’s better to start analyzing their personality instead of blaming themselves for failures.
In the November issue of my monthly newsletter, Persuade and Grow Rich, I have talked about the personality traits which could help people in choosing the right profession.
