As you have seen, generally salespeople say Thanks to the customer after the transaction.
But do you really think that you being a salesman should say thanks to customer for giving an order?
Well, I don’t think so.
In fact, I think your customer should say Thanks to YOU for selling her a great product.
Why?
To answer this, first, let me ask you some questions…
Since how long have you been selling a product which you think is exceptionally good?
1 year?
2 years?
5 years?
20 years?
Do you still have the money you earned in all these years being a salesperson?
Are your customers still using the products that you sold over the years ago?
Now, what do you think who is the biggest winner?
Is it you, who earned some commission by selling your product at that time? I assume you might have already spent that money.
OR
Is it your customer, who is still enjoying the benefits of what you sold to her years back?
So, who do you think makes the best deal?
Of course, your customer!
Therefore, could you think again who should say THANKS to whom after closing the deal?
