They revolutionized the advertising industry by proving Advertising is a multiplied salesmanship. They argued that an advertisement should be judged based on results only. Doing anything blindly is madness.
What they preached decades back becomes much more applicable in the era of internet marketing.
Whether you’re marketing through social media or email or Google, every single ad can be measured to check its effectiveness.
Effectiveness doesn’t mean how many people see your ad.
Effectiveness doesn’t mean how many people like your ad.
Effectiveness doesn’t mean how many people remember your ad.
Effectiveness means how many people buy because of your ad.
Now no advertising or digital marketing agency can fool you by saying, “Our job is to create awareness. Getting sales is your job.”
Every ad should be made accountable. Their success should be decided based on merit.
And it should not be limited to internet marketing.
Even ads on TV, radio, newspapers, and magazines should be held accountable on the basis of results.

Just add Call To Action in every ad and check the response.
The good news is whether it’s internet or conventional media, advertising has become the game of numbers.
And numbers never lie.
